Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, is a beast briefly shown in Gravity Falls' opening credits running and looking at the camera. It is an allusion to the famous film that allegedly contains footage of Bigfoot.
History[]
It appears in one frame in the theme song.
In "The Legend of the Gobblewonker," Soos pretends to be Bigfoot as part of Dipper's demonstration on the importance of cameras.
Later, in "Dreamscaperers," Bigfoot is seen as one image of the creatures that flashed on Bill Cipher's body.
Appearance[]
The creature has brown fur all over its body. The "Sascrotch" from "Tourist Trapped" and "Boss Mabel," has brown shaggy fur, its ear, hands, feet, and face are tan and it is wearing underwear. In the Gravity Falls season 2 poster, there is a picture of a Bigfoot.

Trivia[]
- In "Tourist Trapped" and "Boss Mabel," it is shown that Grunkle Stan has made a "Sascrotch" a parody of Sasquatch wearing underwear, as one of the many hoaxed exhibits in the Mystery Shack.
- In the Weirdmageddon (event) version of the theme song, Bigfoot now has a tree for a torso and head, though he keeps his legs. Meanwhile, the trees around him bear resemblances to enormous human feet, implying the roles are now reversed.
- It can be noted that the foot-like trees look similar to Steve's feet, according to a Gravity Falls poster.
