Peridot has demoted and blocked me from the Steven Universe wiki because I "threatened her" to listen to let the Awesome Steven admin vote continue, and to allow us to have a discussion to demote Bill Cipher. I threatened to globally block her only because she is crazy
and that was the only way she would listen to what I was saying. Then again, she threatened to demote me and block me, which she did, only because I asked her to listen to user opinion and user votes!
I apologize for Peridot doing that to you, it seems as though I was wrong about her possibly being a good user. If the problem has not been adressed yet, I will make sure it is.
Hey Killer, I just wanted to leave you this message about the SU wiki on here because I'll be talking about the Gravity Falls wiki and I don't want people getting upset for "advertising"
Anyways, the thing is this- the Steven Universe Wiki needs more chat mods. Here, we keep 6-8 chat mods on duty and we do this through an election system. Our system, which has been praised by wikia staff members is simple and easy and I was hoping I could help you and Killer introduce it on the Steven Universe wiki.
Two notes before I explain,
I am not asking to be a chat mod, there are more qualified users than me to be a chat mod on the SU wiki.
I am presenting an undeniable problem. The SU wiki is too popular to only have 2 chat moderators, plus one who you are about to ban. Also, yesterday I was on chat with 18 people! I was the only member of the staff there!!! It was crazy.
Now to explain the system- the premise is that you have to continue to be a good chat moderator to retain your position.
How it works: Every 4 months we hold what we call an "Election Season"
Then the votes are counted and we have 6-8 new moderators, easy! Also, generally Election Seasons are a very popular time on the wiki and the users enjoy the healthy competition. Often afterwards, some of the re-elected mods (not everyone gets re-elected and we often have new ones every 4 months) will host a training session- http://gravityfalls.wikia.com/wiki/Thread:108939
