I mean, people used to think that Soos was definitely in on Stan's portal building. After all, he popped up right when the twins were starting to question why Stan took the journal, and he shut the door on them - and the audience - finding out what was behind the vending machine, both in the season finale. (Personally, I think that was Bill-Soos and Bill already knows about the portal room but doesn't know about Stanley completing it.) He has to be hiding the truth on Stan's behalf, right?
And then along comes NWHS, in which Soos is as surprised as anyone to discover even the hidden door, much less the secret portal room. So, he was clueless. Makes sense. And yet he did all that stuff i just talked about. So why? If he didn't pop up to keep them from thinking about Stan's motives, was he just being random? If he didn't shut the door knowing the end of the sentence (and if it was him and not Bill), was he just being dumb?
Discuss.
