Wow. First blog post on the Wiki and the series is ending. I'm barely ever on this Wiki, but since it's something I've been thinking about a lot lately I'd like to share it with other GF fans. I have thoughts about who will die in Weirdmaggedon 3. As, like, everyone knows by now, Alex confirmed that at least one character will not survive the season. People are going crazy trying to figure out exactly which of the main characters will die, but I have my own thoughts. Below is a list of the 5 people I think Alex means when he says "at least one character won't survive the season. Buckle up".
NOTE: I have a theory that the character has actually ALREADY died. He just said "the season" not "Weirdmaggedon" or "Weirdmaggedon 3" and he never specified it was going to be a main character (at least I don't think). A lot of people overlook that.
5. Mayor Befufftlefumpter[]
Just an idea I had. He didn't survive the season, so what if this is who Alex meant? I feel it's unlikely since he was such a minor character, hardly worth mentioning in a tweet.
4. Time Baby[]
I've been thinking about this a lot. Time Baby is becoming so important to the series I'm starting to consider him a main character. We still don't know exactly who the ice bag on Bill's wheel is, and some evidence points to it possibly being Time Baby. In Weirdmaggedon Part 1, Bill actually did kill baby...for 1,000 years until his molecules regenerate. But still, he DIDN'T survive the season. He may show up in Weirdmaggedon 3 in a scene 1,000 years in the future, but he won't be alive when the season (and series) ends.
3. Wendy[]
Okay, so here's my deal with Wendy: we don't know if she's on Bill's wheel. I mean, she has to be because she's a main character..right? What if Alex never put Wendy on the wheel intentionally because he knew from the start she would die? Seems unlikely, but still, this is Alex we're talking about. Looking at the flag in the preview for Weirdmaggedon 3, it appears Wendy's symbol is an axe. If she was the ice bag, the ice bag would be on the flag, not an axe. Other than this, there's no proof she will die, so I still feel it's unlikely.
2. Stan[]
Going for the obvious here. Everyone thinks Stan is a very likely candidate for dying in the finale, and I'm with everyone on that. Bill and Stan haven't interacted before (except for in one short over the phone), but Bill has big plans. Plus, Bill specified through a cryptogram at the end of Weirdmaggedon Part 1 ("NOW LET'S SEE WHICH PINES SURVIVES") that he has plans to kill off at least one person from the Pines family. Plus there's that whole thing about Stan dying by fire and everything else that points to it being him.
1. Bill Cipher[]
I am confident that when Alex says that one character will not survive, he means Bill Cipher himself. I've been thinking it will be Bill for weeks now for multiple reasons.
Story wise, it makes sense. Ending a series with the main antagonist dead and the rest of the characters moving on without having to fear him anymore would be great. I've also heard lots of ideas there will be a final showdown between Bill and Time Baby 1,000 years in the future. If this occurs, Time Baby has to win for the loop of awakening in the future, taking over, but only for him to be taken into the past to be killed off by Bill yet again to work. Do we really have any idea what the Pines plan to do with Bill? All we know if they plan to "stop" or "defeat" him, but what exactly will they do? Finally, Bill is a main character. He's not on the wheel, the wheel is his and goes around him.
