Boss Mabel Script

Ugh, why can't they air Boss Mabel sooner? Anyway, here's a script I wrote for it. It's incomplete for now.

Inside the Mystery Shack, Stan is trying to sell a jackalope to Deputy Durland while Dipper and Mabel watch.

Stan: C'mon, Durland! 500 bucks isn't too much!

Durland: I don't know...I already payed 200 dollars to clean mah bell.

Stan: I can guarentee that this jackalope is worth the cost. The antlers fall off.

Durland: I think I'll pass. He gets up and walks away.

Mabel: Don't worry, Grunkle Stan. I got this. She walks up to the Durland and puts on her most adorable puppy dog eyes.

Mabel: Can you pwetty pwease buy the wittle jackawope from my Gwunkle Stan, pweeeeaaasssseee?

Durland: Of course! I can't say no to that face. He pays the S500 and le…

The Legend of the Gobblewonker Review

The Legend of the Gobblewonker is another epic episode, and is definately in my Top 5.

In this episode, Stan tries to go fishing with the kids, but Dipper and Mabel decide to go monster-hunting with Soos instead. They search across Scuttlebutt Island for it, but the "Gobblewonker" finds them. After one of the greatest boat chases I have ever seen (the music is amazing), the trio learn that the "Gobblewonker" was just a way for Old Man McGucket to get attention from his son. It was pretty cool that the message of "pay attention to your elders" is taught with a chase for an expy of the Loch Ness Monster.

Mabel and Soos really shine in this episode. While Dipper has some moments, it was really them that brought this episode to greatness. Our favo…

Summerween Review

What a way to end one of my favorite episodes so far!

Summerween deals with a decision everyone must make: when to give up trick-or-treating. Dipper, who at first wants to collect candy, is invited to a party by Wendy. While I don't prefer Dipper-Wendy plots as much, this episode handled it much better than Fight Fighters. Mabel, who is going with her friends, needs Dipper to get more candy (as evidenced with Lazy Susan). Dipper is torn, but decides to go to the party, invoking the fury of the Summerween Trickster.

The Summerween Trickster is my second favorite villain, just behind Gideon. When I heard he wanted the kids to get him candy, I thought he was pretty lame. Then he ate Gorny, which was a holy crap moment for me. The reveal of him …

Little Dipper Review

This week's episode, Little Dipper, we see just how crazy and tyrantical Gideon is. This episode stays away from Gideon's love of Mabel, and focuses on him wanting the Shack.

Indeed, Gideon is truly a monster. He bullies his mother and father, such as throwing chairs and ice cream-without nuts. His ownership of the book and his paranormal powers only amplify this. This is summed up when Gideon walks inside his house and mutters, "Mother."

The main problem in this episode was the fact Mabel is taller than Dipper in Canada. As seen in "Double Dipper," Dipper loves being in control, and thought of Mabel becoming the Alpha Twin is downright scary for him. He finds a chrystal in the woods and creates a magic flashlight. Dipper and Mabel have only…

The Hand That Rocks The Mabel Review

So I've decided that each Sunday I'll write a review about an episode, and because "Little Dipper" airs this Friday night, I'll start with "The Hand That Rocks The Mabel".

Mabel and Dipper go watch the show of Stan's archenemy, the pint-sized physic 'Lil Gideon. Mabel and Gideon become fast friends, but Gideon wants to take it to the next level. Mabel doesn't want to hurt his feelings, so she decides to throw him a bone and go on a date with him. However, as Dipper warned, he falls in love with her and won't take no for an answer, which puts Mabel in an extremely uncomfortable spot.

Mabel's time in Sweater Town is both a tearjerking and heartwarming moment. Dipper offering to break up with Gideon is what sets this show apart from others: the…
