Hello everyone, I'm FinnAwesome. needless introduction Apparently, several users think that Disney-ABC Group (The big wigs that control the channel.) are trying to "sabotage" the ratings of both of their widely loved animated shows, Wander Over Yonder and Gravity Falls. As Disney XD (A sister channel aimed at the young male demographic.) recently announced that they would be now showing WOY (Wander Over Yonder.) and GF (Gravity Falls.) on their channel. This caused some panic in the GF fandom thinking Disney Channel was trying to get rid of it and replacing with another sitcom, since not many people have Disney XD. It shows, as Disney Channel hasn't been too kind to animated shows besides Phineas and Ferb, (Even then, it is on indefinite hiatus.) and slowly been canceling pretty ok-to-good shows, such as Dude, That's My Ghost! or Kick Buttowski.
I don't really see any reason to send two of their most critically acclaimed shows to a network no one cares about, as they would just lose ratings since no one really enjoys shows like Jessie or Austin and Ally. Since Wander Over Yonder and Gravity Falls have proven to be both popular with kids and adults (Gravity Falls does have a pretty big fandom and Wander Over Yonder is made Craig McCracken, of Powerpuff Girls and Foster's fame.), it would get more ratings and in turn merchandise and other stuff. There also have been rumors of Disney shutting down its TV animation department after Star and the Forces of Evil. I cannot confirm this though, as it seems pretty far-fetched. (The article.)
